Eagle Crest Camp, a Salvation Army Camp, offers 297 beautiful acres of land located atop bluffs

overlooking the Illinois River near Washburn, Illinois. The setting is a haven of fun, fellowship, and

spiritual growth for thousands of children and adults each summer.

Off Interstate 39

Take Route 17 (exit 35) west toward Lacon, IL. In Lacon catch Route 26 south (at stop light). Go approximately 8 miles looking for the Salvation Army/Eagle Crest Camp sign (Columbia Road). Turn left and go up a steep hill and continue for about 2.5 miles. You'll see the flags on the right, enter, go past the house on your left, take a left and follow the road back to the camp office.

Coming from the West on I-80

Follow the Interstate 39 directions, or take Interstate 180 (exit 61) to Route 29 into Sparland, IL. At the Route 17 junction take a left, go over the river into Lacon, IL and turn right at Route 26. Go approximately 8 miles looking for Salvation Army/Eagle Crest Camp sign (Columbia Road). Turn left and go up a steep hill and continue for about 2.5 miles. You'll see the flags on the right, enter, go past the house on your left, take a left and follow the road back to the camp office.

Coming from the South on I-55

Follow the Interstate 39 directions, or take interstate 155 toward Peoria, IL and merge onto Interstate 74 into Peoria. Before you cross the Illinois River, take Route 116 (exit 95) toward Metamora. Go approximately 5.5 miles and turn left onto Route 26 towards Spring Bay. You will travel about 15 miles until you see the sign on the right for Salvation Army/Eagle Crest Camp (Columbia Road). Turn right and go up a steep hill and continue for about 2.5 miles. you'll see the flags on the right, enter, go past the house on your left, take a left and follow the road back to the camp office.
